Modeling
Ava Vanderstarren has been a model since 2009. She has been in over 100 runway shows and countless commercial, editorial and catalogue photoshoots. A few highlights include: Arc`teryx,
Eco Fashion Week, Coast Hotels, Vancouver Fashion Week, Sam Stringer, Jason Matlo, VALT, and Power of My People. She has appeared in Femme Rebelle Magazine UK, FreshlyWORN Magazine, One1One Magazine, Tri-cities Wedding Magazine and Impress Magazine.
Ava worked with students in the photo programs at Vanarts and Langara College for over 8 years doing studio and location shoots for fashion, bridal and lifestyle. Ava models for charity and some of her work includes Brilliant, The Ice Ball and SAF Global Wonders. She produced her own charity fashion show for Cops for Cancer during her year as Miss BC.
